Funky chickens and other sights at the Royal Winter Fair

Yesterday we had the pleasure of visiting the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. My parents joined me for the day of adventures.

After the chaos of driving into the big city, missing the exit off the 401 and a scenic drive through an unfamiliar area of Toronto, we found our way onto the proper route. Nearing the venue, the dearth of signage for us seemed to be an issue, leading to several u-turns. Happy ending though: we made it to “the Royal” and were able to take in lots of displays, a petting zoo, live animal shows (SuperDogs, livestock) as well as other sights. Including the “funky chickens” – chickens that seemed to be dyed different colours!
